Susan Hall | West Marin

Leyati is a Miwok name meaning "shaped like an abalone shell." This small plate by ceramicist and painter Susan Hall of Point Reyes Station is thrown and then hand-painted. Earthy and rustic, with etched lines and a spiral motif that recalls tribal art, the Leyati Plate is ideal for a snack or side salad. Susan is inspired by the mystery of Northern Californian landscapes, so it is no surprise that this plate is a terrain unto itself. A special edition of the Leyati Plate was created for Edition Local.
