Molly de Vries | Ambatalia | West Marin

A furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods. This one is dip-dyed in a lovingly tended vat of rare, California-grown indigo (polygonum tinctorium). Although its style comes from a long and traditional past, Molly has updated it with delicate golden hand-stitching. Made to be worn as a scarf yet durable enough to carry a few lightweight items from the farmer's market, the Indigo Furoshiki is the perfect item to always have on hand. Molly created a special edition of the Furoshiki Scarf for Edition Local.
